Robert Wickham
Robert Wickham is the winner of the 2016 Most Excellent Writing Prize for Poetry and graduated with honors in Literature from the College of Creative Studies at UC Santa Barbara. He has taken extensive mathematics coursework in college, including courses on Multi-Variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Proof, and Differential Geometry. He is the 2011 Valedictorian of Palm Springs High with an almost perfect SAT score. He was ranked in the top 10 of graduating seniors in Riverside County on the basis of extra-curricular activities, GPA, SAT and AP Scores. He ran the literary journal Into the Teeth of the Wind and served on the Board of Directors of the multi-million dollar Santa Barbara Student Housing Co-operative as Treasurer. Professor Kay Young (Harvard, PH.D. 1994) has described his work as “remarkable…brilliant.” He has two years experience tutoring SAT, Geometry, Algebra, and Calculus, and has taught college courses on the Mid-Century American Novel and Contemporary American Poetry.
